the staff were friendly and the room was nice enough.
the pillows were horrible and so uncomfortable! i had to park a 5-minute walk away due to parking restrictions. returning to the hotel on two separate occasions, i saw the receptionist and night porter smoking on the front steps, right next to the 'please do not smoke on the steps' sign!

Wonderful stay for a special occasion

We reserved two rooms for one night at the end of May for a wedding party. The location is excellent (it is in a lovely area). The building has original features like fireplaces and a beautiful staircase. The rooms each had two large comfortable double beds. The windows were large and provided great light for photographs. The staff was really helpful from beginning to end and nothing was too much to ask.

Breakfast included a wide variety of options. The continental breakfast offered an assortment of breads, yogurts, and juices. Cooked breakfast items, such as omelettes and bacon, were also available (i especially liked the bacon!).
